BEWARE of this saler on Ebay

I bought a console that was supposed to be in good conditon and a good hinge on it, but when I got the package, the hinge was broken. I thought ok I will email and see what he wants to do, so he told me to send it back and he would get me a replacement if it was damaged. (He takes 2 - 4 days between answers by the way) he gets it and says that it was broken in the mail and said that I did not ask for insurance so it is my problem. I responded back and said how could the hinge break if it was shiped closed and pack as well as it was if the hinge was in good condition to begine with. He then replys that the part I sent back was not the one that he shiped because he marks all his parts with his initials, it had his initials on the bottom!!!! He then replys that that was not his hand writing, I am like what the F**k I let him know that if he does not give me my money back I was going to report him on Ebay and give him negative feedback, he told me it works both ways when it come to feedback. Bottome line is that I paid 49.50 for the console then 7.70 to ship it back and now I am out the money and no console which was better than the one I have to begin with. BEWARE OF THIS PERSON ON EBAY EVERYONE

Damn feedback hostage taking sellers....grrr. It's the seller's responsibility to get you the item as it was when you bid. Insurance is to protect the SELLER.

I guess my feedback will be that I paid to fast, as to the insurance, this item had to have been broken well before it was shipped. Otherwise it would have been broken on the out side of the console and not the inside were the hinge would have been secure from movement.

FWIW, I bought a set of door handle cups from the guy on EBay and had nothing but great service and good parts. Sucks that you had a bad experience.

It makes me suspicious when sellers don't give good feedback the MOMENT they pocket your money! A good eBayer will. I've done business with this guy in the past without trouble but when I hear crap about "feedback goes both ways"...... NEVER AGAIN! Thanks for the heads up!

I am sure you did but I am so pissed that one email he said I am sending him another console and then another saying that it was broken in the mail, which is it!!!. I guess the door handle parts are non breakable. LOL.
I am filing a complaint today with ebay and try to get my money back. Hell I would least pay half for the broken console since it is still better than the one I have.

Hey Pittdp, you can leave feedback for 90 days after the auction ends. Find that date on a calender and leave him negative feedback one minute before the 90 days are up. That won't leave him enough time to give you feedback. I know that 90 days is a long time but $50 is a good chunk o change too. Just an idea.

How interesting, I bought some side moldings from this seller that were described as ready to be installed. They arrived filthy and with the old tape crap still on the back. I emailed him that I was disappointed and he said send them back and they would be replaced. I told him that wouldn't be worth the time and shipping. He then offered to send a future order shipping prepaid. I asked if he had a few items I wanted. He said he thought so and would ship them for $12.50. It sounded fair so I left him Pos. (sort of) feedback. He now doesn't answer my emails so I guess I won't see the parts. (Nope didn't pay for them). I finally got the moldings cleaned and guess what..... The left side moldings he was supposed to send are for the right side of the car. I never even thought to look at them closely thinking everybody knows in the USA the left side of the vehicle is the driver's side. I think I'm going to stop dealing with individuals on ebay. What a pain!

Another one is the RB header for 84-85 13b currently on ebay. I emailed the seller when it was newly listed and he said he would sell it for $50.00 plus shipping. I emailed back right away and said fine end the auction and I would paypal immediately. He didn't stop the auction and I had to watch somebody run the auction up to $96 over lunch that day. When he emailed me in the evening he said he never dreamed it would go that high, and he hoped I would understand. He said he would email me if the high bidder didn't pay. I was the high bidder at the time and told him I would retract my bids if he wanted me to. He said to do that. It nocked the price way back, but I'm sure he will get what he needs for it. The thing is that if he had agreed to honor his bargain and ended the auction, I would have been happy to pay him a more, since it had proven more valuable than he thought and probably bought other RX stuff from him in the future. Now he is just another seller not to trust.

Yes the guy does take forever I tried to resolve the issue threw email but he has responded 3 times in the last 30 days, it is a real pain, and that is why I am going to have to take action, I am sorry to hear about everyones issues, lets make sure if we ever have a problem from a seller, we need to bring it up to everyone here. It will atleast let us think twice about questionable sellers.

Yes, please! I haven't even had a chance to open the box yet, to be honest. It arrived in great shape with no impact or scuff marks, so it looks like it was babied because of its size. When we see big boxes that aren't too heavy like the one you sent, methods tell us to save them for the top when loading into feeders or pkg. cars to finish a load. It looks like it enjoyed that treatment. Small, slightly heavy boxes are saved on the side to throw at other pre-loaders that **** you off. Man, I'm glad I'm outta that company, freakin' evil UPS....
I'm in no rush...I jes wanted to poke at ya a little while you were gettin' crazy about your previous tragedy! Hehehehe....

Hell yes, I just left a couple weeks ago. Now that my sleep patterns have returned to normal and the loading nightmares have subsided, I'm happy again.
