Yeah, I'm not too sure about this guy. I found him on e-Bay, but didn't bid. I contacted him directly about some parts. He told me that they would be like factory fresh, but they weren't. Fortunately the price was good, so I wasn't too pressed. His shipping policy sucks though. I told me he would mail it off on Monday and send me a tracking number. When he didn't send a tracking number, I contacted him, and he said he sent it USPS. I waited a couple of weeks, never got the part, emailed him back, and he said he'd check on it. I emailed him again, and he said the shipping store had lost the shipping address, and he did then send it fed-ex ground. I think he was hoping I wouldn't bother him for $25. I would definitely be careful with this guy.

I bought stuff from him before, and even talked to him on the phone... I mainly bought from him because the price was right as it was my first E-Bay shopping experience, I was a little nervous about the whole thing though.
He seemed pretty honest, the shipping time was quick, and I ended up getting a little more than I asked for.
The first time I bought from him off of e-bay, I got a Front Control Arm for like $35 including shipping.
Then I wrecked my car and needed more parts. (Fender, Rim, and Tie-Rods) He offered everything including a reap wrap around spoiler for $200.
When I recieved the package, it had everything, but the spoiler had a few cracks in it. In exchange for that, he included the entire steering linkage rather than just the tie-rods.
Seems I've had the only good experience with this guy... Thanks for the warning, I'm gonna be wary next time (If there is a next time.) I deal with him.
I also got the auto-X'er story.

Ebay....
I buy and sell on Ebay all the time. I'm a powerseller with about 800 feedbacks now.
Anyways, for those of you who use Paypal......don't you know you can get your money back EASILY?
You just report "fraud" with paypal about the transaction. They send an email to the seller, explaining that he has 2 choices:
Provide a Tracking Number, or a refund. They get 7 days to respond, I believe, and then Paypal will automatically take the money from their account and deposit it back in yours.
For that reason, I use Paypal. I don't like the Money Orders, because they are just like giving the person cash. To try to get your money back from a Money Order will take all of eternity of mailing information back and forth to the company who issued the Money Order, and they take their fee, which is like $25 or so.
If you buy on Ebay, use Paypal. Easy to show proof of payment, and easy to report fraud and recieve a refund. If you have a problem with someone on Ebay, use the links to report fraud to them, and leave NEGATIVE feedback. If they get 3 reports of fraud, Ebay will boot them.

Na, Paypal is no guarantee of anything. I have a rating of around 250'sh and a store on Ebay. The problem with Paypal, is these guys use an account they always keep dry. When Paypal goes to pull the money it's not there. Then they can't help you at all. If you send a US Postal Money order and they don't send the product, then you can get the Federal Government involved for fraud. Plus, they can't cash the money order unless they show valid ID, proving they recieved the money order.
The only way to be safe is COD. If they take it, that is. Best thing to do, is advance the shipping cost for the COD then pay the difference when the COD arrives.

I got rooked on Yahoo, where the guy insisted on "C2IT" (worthless) and C2it did nothing for me. Yahoo sent me an email saying I was entitled to $250, but they never sent the money. I gave the cops the info I had and I hope they jail the guy.

You can also report to Ebay to recieve money...
Ebay charges a fee of $25.00 for this service, but at least you get something.
They offer you up to $200 back if you file a claim of fraud. Say your item was $250, and you paid and never recieved the item. You go through the normal steps of emailing the seller, and get no reponse....then you contact Ebay. Ebay will email the customer on your behalf, and I believe you get 7 days as a seller to respond to that.
When you still don't get anywhere with the seller, Ebay will allow you to request the claim to proceed, and EBay will give you $200 in that case minus the $25 fee, which gets you $175 back.
I've never had to do this myself, but at least its something back instead of nothing. Its not worth it on a $30 item to get $5 back, but you see the point.
Also, you can go to the page where the person has their feedback, and the middle link below their rating is "REQUEST SELLER'S CONTACT INFO' or something of the sort. You can click on that, EBay will ask for the seller's or Bidder's ID that you dealt with, and then the item number. After that, eBay will email you back the email address, phone number, and address of the other party.
You just might luck out, and find out that the person just lives in the next town over.....and well, you can imagine the fun that can turn out to be....
But, do everyone a favor. Leave the appropriate feedback if they rip you off and never reply to emails. Go through the steps to file for fraud, and check their contact info for a valid email address and phone number. If they are bogus, report it to ebay, and they get NARU'd (Not A Registered User) which kills their account.
It's a PITA to go through all the steps, but at least you get something out of it in the majority of cases.

I just dont understand why ******* have to do this, I mean my god you got something, sell it, ship it, get your money like you suppose to. Dont be a worthless jerk, i look at all my transactions this way, when I buy something I want my **** , i dont want to be dicked around, so i treat people the way I want to be treated. Simple as that...
BTW: I had a few emails from this webtv.net doober, he was trying to always sell me something when I was looking for it. And I was like I dont know you, I dont see you participate and I dont see a LARGE feedback number. I aint sending you ****, it was a pretty straight forward decision.

maybe we should all write, e-mail and call this thief. I've heard alot of little wooses say that's not for the forum well I thought this was a place to help each other out. If I'm not allowed to tell you who's going to rip you off I don't think this place is worth posting. BEWARE THE EBAY THIEVES if you know of any more please post I don't want to buy from them. I will let you know how the trip to florida goes this week.
