ISC Racing in Florida sells a Howe double pass racing radiator that mounts in the stock location. You have to cut the side mounting flanges slightly on the radiator for it to fit.
This radiator is used in road race 1st gens all over the southeast.

I'm using an aluminum double pass radiator, and it seems to work very well. I adapted it from a circle track unit. You can get them fairly cheap at places like Summit Racing, or even eBay. You'll need to reduce the lower bung from 1 3/4" to 1 1/2" and add a small bung for the heater line. Then you'll need to add some side brackets for mounting.

I forgot, the heater return in the lower pipe is not there since it is a racing unit. Mike might add one if you need it.

Thumbs up

thatnks guys, i ended up getting one from ebay for 250 shipped to the door. im pretty happy with it, just got it ruffed in today. still gotta get some bungs welded in. turns out the place i bought it from is the same place that sponsors renes drifting CXracing (atleast i think its the same one) they are justintercoolers on ebay. this one does come with heater tube but not angled bottom outlet, anyways if your looking for a radiator this one is pretty nice 2pass 3 row..will fit 85 and under easy.
