^^Actually the Denso's are cheaper than the stock NGK's. I used the Denso's and they worked good. I used the NGK's and they worked well too. My SA has the BUR7 and BUR9-EQ's from the FC and they seem to work really well

around here the only place i can find denso is autozone and they like there spark plugs too much. i think they got the stock plugs mixed up with racing plugs or something i would pay those prices ever. i had fouled out some plugs and saw and auto zone in a town i didnt know and said lets try there and told the guy to keep then no wonder you havent sold more of them. went to advanced and found second gen stock trailing and leading plugs like almost $25 cheaper so i bought them havent fouled them out yet so im happy. car runs really rich. its been over 2 months now and still look really good took them out to check. so i swear by now. i do need to get the bur6 and bur 8 though so i can have a set for city driving. i think thats part of my problem

I actually work at AutoZone, the price we list for Denso's are $1.99 per plug and the NGK's are $5.99 per plug. We don't stock the FC plugs though. Of course I'm sure the price changes from region to region. I hate dealing the the Advance Auto's up here. All the employees are morons and their prices are outrageous(ooohhhh take that aws140 hissss.................hahaha jk)

What he means is this becomes a very hot topic very quickly.

I run NGK BR8EQ14's

On engines that like to flood I have found that the Stock Denso for the 79 works great.

Mazda, Mazdatrix and others reputible sources say use only the Japanese plugs that Mazda used for street legal vehicles. That is NGK and ND... ONLY...

Your on your own using any other plug if it BEEPS up your rotors don't cry to us.

This poll doesn't make sense...

BR8EQs and BR9EQs are for different purposes. I would vote both of them as "best" for a stock ignition setup, depending on your driving. For example, my 3000+km road trip to Nova Scotia and back ran BR9s because they're better for highway driving. Around the city I use BR8s because they're better for city driving.

If you have an upgraded (read: direct fire) ignition, then 2nd Gen plugs are good, but BR8EIX / BR9EIX plugs are better. So those would then become the "best" plugs.

Nippon Denso plugs of the right type are just as "good" as the NGK ones, they just aren't as common, and aren't OEM (what the dealer carries)

So really I can't vote on this poll because four of the choices match the question (I'm not familiar with the B8EVG plugs)
