I'm trying to find out what company makes the best carpet for these cars.

I have an '84 SE with a brown interior so I need a brown carpet. I've had trouble finding a good original carpet. (let me know if someone has one)

Anyone recommend a specific company to buy a replacement carpet from? I would like one that matches the original with 2 pieces in the front and the rubber foot rests. I don't need the hatch carpet, it is still good.

This is a restoration so I need an accurate copy of the original.

Everybody just resells the ACC carpet. It's all the same. Buy whichever "brand" you can find the cheapest bc it will all be drop shipped from ACC anyway (in my experience). They all fit "ok"... Not as good as factory but not terrible either.

 

I read a bunch of threads that said ACC carpets were junk.

Is there anyone else that actually makes them?

 

i have never heard of a reputable carpet product for our 7's. most are ill fitting and do not match the original shade. Ray Green had some brown interior parts from a car he parted out. may want to give him a pm and see if he has anything left.
