TurboIIBuy, you're notes on your 84 RX7 are awesome. I have pretty much the same setup, and was wondering about some issues.

My stock intake has been port matched to my streetport 12A, but carby is still stock (mechanical 2ndries) and I was wondering if porting the manifold was the wrong thing to do. Car seems to surge when cruising. I thought maybe the fuel wasn't atomising as much. But that's good to read your setup is happy with it. My issue must be elsewhere.

I have the same issue as you buzzfan. My surging only happens at ~2K rpms and mainly on deceleration/coasting.

yes but mostly on bp. tuning it on a streetport can be a headache. IIRC, venturies smaller than a 50 are not available.
