I'm willing to bet that the range of responses you are going to receive will be based to the answer you give to the following questions: What do you do with your car? Is it a daily driver? Weekend cruiser? Racer: Drag, autoX, track?

The Camden was designed to work with the Holley carb. Other than cfm, the only only other real choice you have is whether or not to go with the Holley style throttle and fuel injection.

You talk from what experience?? The camden is an old school roots blower designed for use with any carb. An edelbrock is your best daily driver choice, many have used sidedrafts as well, and "I" feel the holley makes the best power. You can use a vac secondary or double pumper. BG Demon was not friendly at all!! I speak from several years of camden use on 5 different engine combination's (3 of mine and 2 of a friends). The list includes a 12a streetport, 12a half bridge, 13b 6 port streetport, 4 port half bridge and 4 port streetport. Interesting to note that a bridgeport with a camden will idle like a streetport and have great midrange. I have used several holleys, a demon and a couple edelbrocks ranging from 570cfm to 850 cfm in both square bore and spreadbore configurations. The camden responds very well to premixing the fuel as the oil helps lubricate the chargers apex seals.

The water meth is best injected in the lower intake to cool the charge and not effect charger lubrication.

The latest test will be going from a 7" to a 5" camden, modifying a 750 double pumper to holley hp specs, adding nitrous, rb roadrace exhaust and experimenting with my timing curve.
