Sterling rocks, and doesn't hurt the wallet so much as the "other guys" will.

Sterling carb....if he's just getting started, he doesn't need to jump into non-stock carbs where he's going to be having to tune a bunch....and he is prolly expecting the same power curve just more of it in every part of the rpm band.....without tuning a thing.

Just keep in mind that a high performance carb will do you no good without a free flowing exhaust, upgraded fuel pump, and a fuel pressure regulator...

Truly, the exhaust will yield the quickest HP/rev gains for a carb'd 12A and the stock Nikki is already jetted a little rich to take advantage of the extra air flow through the engine.

My vote is for the weber as well, partial to the 48 IDA cause of the performance and the mean growl it lets out that is louder than my free flowing exhaust!

Thats an RX-2 carb fully modified along with the reverse flow 13-B intake manifold. It was done many many years ago. Cold heine's and Cheech & Chong's movie (Up in Smoke) can create a very creative mind. lol. Carlos Mencia stated "if Hawaii is so good, then why do we have many Hawaiian's in the main island." That mentality applies to carb as well. Hope you get the point.

Actually, this is a copy of the race-version that was originally modified by Tri-Point Engineering. This one kicked-*** back in the days. Now I use it for decoration purposes while the other carbs and a few nikkis are used as "wheel choke.' j/k.
