Benifit from firing L&t same time twice spaced 15 degrees apart?

Would it be beneficial in any way to fire the leading and trailing plugs at the same time twice, spaced 15 degrees apart?

You would need a CDI to do that, a Kettering type ignition wouldn't be able to charge the coil fast enough.

Fortunately, most CDIs nowadays are multi-strike...

Speaking of the TT thread, has there been any redesign on the circuit board so it doesn't get so hot? I remember that was the problem you were trying to figure out.
