Talking Before i start building my gsl-se

i think before i start building my gsl-se im gonna finish off my little 12a

my compression is a little under the numbers so i came up with this plan when i start on my gsl-se

i have a nice nitrious kit here,
full blown wet setup kit that sprays in gas as well as the no2

i was thinking of going all out and winning some money at the track or strip and spraying 200+ shot

im sure it will handle an easy 150hp shot for a descent amount of runs if i adjust the jets extremly rich
but do you think 200+ is just going way to far?

right now my mods are in case you all forgot

modded nikki
functional ram air
direct fire
msd 6a
msd blaster 2 coils x3
msd wires
no a/c ,smog pump ,or rats nest
acv block off plate
racing beat header
racing beat mini pre-silencer
straight 2.25" pipe
dtm straight through muffler
14" electric fan
air oil cooler
full gsl-se suspension
gsl-se rear end
street/strip hd clutch
street/strip pressure plate
medium weight reduction

You bought a GSL-SE? Or are you talking about swapping your car to GSL-SE Specs? You still kept that 13B off of that Junkyard car?

Isn't the 12A you have stock? With high miles? rotaries that are going to use a NOS system are usually prepared for it in advance with the right internal modifications such as hardened stationary gears, stronger apex seals, a VERY retarded dizzy (or one that will retard for you), rev-limiters, and such.

On your current engine - yes. Way too much. That is what 10 second Bridgeported 13B's use. Keep in mind your car is light (you reduced it further), and with your mods, a 50-75 shot is literally about 40-60% more power instantly. You will feel it, it will rip a new one to almost anybody. Also, with a 50-75 wet shot, you shouldn't grenade the engine immediately.

By the way, that is what I did to my old 81GSL before I put the SE engine in it back in the day. I slapped a 50 shot of Nitrous on it (Dry though) and Really had fun for 3 weeks.

Check out This Thread for some cool Bang-for-the-Buck Nitrous action.

i plan on buying a gsl-se and staring fresh,

i will only be keeping my body kit,
rear wing,
sway bars,
msd igntion setup,
and some of the exhaust

i will be parting out my car because its not worth selling,

the frame is garbage,
and just about ready to snap in half

urgghhh,
water injection,
more work, more plumbing,

this thing only has to last a day or two at the track,

but i refuse to double clutch,
i will be granny shifting all the way down the track,

with flames shooting from my motek exhaust
