has anyone ever ran a hose from the front of the car to the beehive cooler? THis way you could have liquid and air cooling. I have a big empty space in my car where ac and ps was removed it wouldnt cost much at all just gotta mount it somehow then you could have the best of both worlds?

Unless you are using water straight from the radiator, the beehive would actually heat the oil up to a warmer temp than the FMOC had cooled it down to.
The beehive drawing water from the back of the engine, where it is already heated up, is the main design flaw. Had it been plumbed into the system right after the water pump, where the water was much cooler, and returned to the radiator, it would be much more efficient. At least, that is my take.

i mean run a hose to the front were the rad is and take the tube to bee the bee hive. Like a cold air intake and have the cold air get rammed up the tube to blow on to the bee hive it would be a pretty cheap alternative just take up space.

No such thing as an '83 SE. GSL-SE was 84-85 only, and had air cooler in front of the radiator. 79-82 had cooler under the radiator, and 83-85 12A cars had the beehive. The 79-82 setup will fit in 83-85 cars that originally had the beehive.
