The Beast Has Come!

I have started the beast! Aka the 167000 mi 84 GS 12a, oh and I say beast. I need project ideas because I’m going to work in this in mechanics. Here is the list of supplies I got so far:

High tension wire -$50 bucks Canadian Tire
Carburetor rebuild kit -$145 dealer
Paint - TBA
Tires Yokohama all seasons-$888
New engine -$1923 (possibly if needed later
Clamshell for steering shaft- $50 dealer (discontinued
Dizzy cap- $40 Napa
Door seals- $124 Dealer
Window seals- $66 Dealer
Butyl tape- $5 bucks Canadian Tire
Rod A- $12.21 dealer
Mazda Decal- $?
Fender -$101 Napa
Fender Bumper Clip- (hopefully wont need if epoxy will hold) $12 bucks dealer

All things are brand new and in Canadian dollars.

Other things needed not listed
New exhaust system not Iron Oxide based lol
New Rearview Mirror
New Lens cover for taillights

This car is just mine the previous owner didn't maintain it or anything. So I’m thinking of changing various fluids: steering, Differential, Clutch etc. Already gave her an oil change came out sludge black. Please give any tips or tricks or any advice you can think of to work on this. I’m thinking of doing some performance mods after she's all cleaned up.

I’m from Victoria BC Canada and if anyone is in the area it would be nice for some advice on parts etc.

YAY another Victorian rexer on the forum, good luck with the restoration project.

If your looking for used parts on the island call Brentwood Auto Salvage or Sandy's Auto parts, both wreckers have afew 1st gens in their yards.
