Battery relocation question

Going to do this next weekend. How many feet of 0 gauge wire do i need to run from the pass storage bin to the starter? I have a RHD so the run should be a little shorter. Also is 0 gauge needed or will 2 guage work? Running a optima battery also

All depends on which way you are going? If you drill a hole in the floor, it will be around 6ft. If you do it the right way it will be around 16ft (going up the trans tunnel to a grommet in the fire wall, down the fire wall to the starter. You will need firewall grommets (partsexpress) and to drill a new hole for this. When I mention grommets, I don't mean those rubber ones. They are only $6.95 each and worth every penny!
I ran 2 gauge wire from my optima and it works fine, spend the extra money to get the better (more flexible) cable.

Make sure you put an inline fuse after the starter to the fuse box and before it. I used a 200 amp resetable one from streetwires ($30) no more then 12" from the battery and the one after the starter is inline with my 2nd gen fuse panel.
