... can i put my mx6 93 battery on the rx7 85

As long as the posts are on the same side and it will fit the battery tray you are ok.
1st gens do not require a battery with alot of cranking amps or reserve capacity in them, so just about any battery will do as long as size and post mounting are correct. Your Mx6 actually requires a more powerful battery then your rex.
