Problem was there was no resistance on the speaker. Kinda like mounting it on a string in the middle of the room and wanting it to sound good. With the sealed box and the speaker pointing at the hatch I should get some nice sound.

yea i see now what you needed to do. Now that you have made reenforced the supports it should do the trick
