Banzai Racing Pulley Kit
Does the pulley just slip on or is it to big for the shaft of the alternator?
Waiting for it to arrive so I am ready to install the kit when it gets here and need clarification.

Nice try Banzai, I will order it some time in the future though.
It's decently heavy, so probably steel, but I could be wrong.

My fridge magnet stuck to it so it is steel.

Started to listen closely to my engine at high rpms and noticed the belt has a small consistent squeal at high rpms, but you can barely hear it, and the outer belt runs loose compared to the inside belt. Is this normal?

Note: Banzai's alt bracket won't fit your stock cast iron 85 and older waterpump perfectly. You'll see Mazda moved the alt bracket bolt location from up high on the impeller casting to a bit lower and bolted through the waterpump housing and into the front iron on the 86 and later waterpumps.
YOU NEED TO BE AWARE OF THIS! And mod the alt bracket to suit.

Oh and the difference in belt tensions is kinda normal. Little differences in where the belt was cut from the original "drum" of material can affect lengths slightly. Or the alt isn't perfectly aligned where the front end or nose is angled down just a tiny bit due to belt tension. You'll see it's usually the more forward belt that it looser.
One way to combat this is to let them run for a bit. Then at some point take both belts off, swap positions, and run them like that for a while. I don't recommend overtightening the 14mm pivot bolt to try to shore up the alt because this doesn't really work and you just stress the alt mounting ears and cause other kinds of problems.
