Bad thing turns into good omen

So there I was, driving through town in the 7. Decide to go home to watch TV and more or less do nothing. On the way there, I drive over some RR tracks that are pretty bumpy, not really thinking anything of it. I went slow and took it easy. About 4 blocks down the street my car dies. WTF? I turn off the key and turn it back on thinking maybe my fuel filter got clogged suddenly or something. I hear nothing... No extremely annoying brrr sound from my carter. I get out, look under my car and see the horror that is there. Apparently, hitting the tracks at about 2 MPH was enough to slam my fuel pump into cement and therefore ripping the entire bottom off (where the wires attach). I get pushed the other 5 blocks home and go inside and chill.

About an hour passes and it hits me. I am really pissed off! I go outside and decide to wreak havoc on the spare engine I have been tearing apart. I tear it all down and realize a couple things. 1 - the engine most likely ran when it was pulled. 2 - The reason no comp on front rotor was the fact that 2 of the apex seals were stuck down along with all 3 of the side seals on the front most side. I started looking at the housings and realize that they are in excellent shape. No chrome flaking, no chatter marks. Hopefully the other spare engine I have will have near perfect irons/rotating assembly (I would prefer to have the lighter internals and easier to find clutch and other items for the later engines). The engine I pulled is an S1 and the other is an 83-85. So, if anyone needs a set of 79-80 rotors, let me know. I will have pics soon, so everyone can check it out. I will also be checking clearances and specs for the S1 irons and will most likely be selling them also.

Rant over.

Edit: BTW, I plan on buying a set of SP, and a set of BP templates so that this motor can be my either half or full bridge motor. I am willing to do trades if anyone has any of the stuff needed for such a project (seals, templates, etc).
