Bad spider gears 1984 gsl se

I tore apart my lsd today because of excessive noise and everything seemed ro be in good shape, except the spider gears which are in pretty bad shape. I was wondering what would cause these to go bad, the cars got 90k on it, which is a fair amount but I couldnt expect my gears to go bad for no reason. Also if anyone has a spare set of gears or a gslse diff sitting around im in the market so let me know.

Also what gears are compatible with this differential, i have a 2nd gen sitting outside the shop, that i could pull the gears out of but i doubt they would fit.

If I am reading this chart right, the third member should swap over. http://mazdatrix.com/g5.htm

That being said, the 84/85 mazda part number is M025-27-255B whereas the 86/88 is M025-27-255B for the spider gears on the pinion shaft.

Check the two part manuals to confirm we are talking about the same gears.
