Bad situation:
Bad situation:
One of my solenoid valves has been severed. Actually a part of the plastic body that the hoses connect to broke off (probably due to a ham-fisted mechanic), so I can't replace the hose. Exactly how bad is this, and how can I fix it?
The solenoids have colored dots on them. Just grab the same thing out of the junkyard and they'll probably let you have it for free...just bolt in the replacement...fini...
man, the junkyards around here say "take it all or don't touch it" and if you say it's just for the little piece on it that's really not part of the whole assembly, they'll double the price. I think I'm gunna start up my own junkyard in my back yard

Stupid mechanics grrrr.....
That's why you should always do your own work.
Either....
-Cap it.
-Find a used one from a junkyard.
-See anyone here as a extra one.

i'll hit up the junkyard this weekend and send it to ya if you tell me which one it is and paypal me $5 to cover shipping costs.
the part ain't no big thing. comes cheap at a junkyard.
oddly enough, i had the exact same thing happen to me after getting my car back from hayes.
