bad Idle
Hey folks, I have a friend that has an 85 1st Gen which stalls out while driving (mostly between shifting). I have not seen the car yet and it was suppose to have been repaired at Rotary performance in Garland and still does the same thing. Stalls out. I told my friend that I would post the problem here where the real pro's would know.
I own two second gen's and since my friend knows I have an RX, they informed me about this problem. I told them it sounds like a vacuum problem. Has any one ever dealt with this kind of problem? I understand the idle really gets worst when the AC is turned on. I'm open for suggestions here.....Thx

Vac leak is the most probable culprit. Spray some starter fluid around all the vac lines with the car running and if they idle changes then you have found your leak.
