some times on my 80 rx7 i will back up out of a space and i will hear a clicking noise... i have no clue what it is.. any ideas?

 

diff, rear suspension, tie rod ends, loose parts, its a number of thing. what kind of clicking sounds? more of a knocking sound like a pop? we need more info. can you lay a camera down when you are backing out so we can hear it for ourselves?

 

i had my outer tie rod ends replaced and i remember hearing that sound before i got them replaced and then it went away and now its back.. i hope its not that big of a deal

 

Inspect your suspension and also see if there is any free play on the wheels (bearings). Your brake pads are ok? Might need to take the tires off an inspect each wheel and the local suspension. Also check your DIFF lube.

i hope i can figure out what this is, i just got my u joints replaced so.. thats out unless they messed up when they did them
