backfire/not idling

backfire/not idling

im getting a backfire and its not idling, need to fix that asap (9 days til inspection)

also a whirring noise in the rear end when under load

Need a little more information. Is the car stock? When does it backfire? Never idles or only sometimes?

Things to check:
Vacuum leaks
Fuel filter
Fuel pump
idle mixture

going to mess with the leading this weekend when i have time, cars stock except for straight pipe, not many backfires, so im not that concerned atm, fuel filter an pump r fine
