Back Seats and Roll Bar

I am looking at Google Images of RX7 Roll Bars and I cant seem to find out where they mount. I am wondering if one would mount around the back seats or if I (heavin forbid) have to remove them. All the images I am finding are of 93+. I remember seeing our cars fitted with them. Will do more searching, but just wanted this general question answered. thx

This is way to hardcore for me, just something like a hoop and 2 bars leading to the back area.

Sorry, but you aren't going to be able to keep the rear seats. The downlegs for the main hoop are either mounted on the the raised structural rib that divides the front from the back half, or just behind the rib, fixed to the floor pan just above the inner frame rails that are seen from the underneath. By the time the rearward legs are installed, the seat will have no room for passengers and either of the above mounting points also get into the bin structure.

Yeah he's right. Heres a picture of my project and the 8 point. I know you are thinkin 4 point just for roll over purposes, but either way it will be the same thing just without the front struts and diagonal struts to the tunnel. There is really no way around place ment. that I know of anyway. Mine is pretty much standard in design. It's a comp engeneering main hoop. You might be able to have someone cutom bend a hoop that clears all the way around by like a half in. or something, but even then....doubt seats would fit without some major upolstery magic, and I wouldn't do that to nice stock seats.
