B&m 144 Supercharger On 12a PP

i scored this weekend. I was on craiglist and found a scca rx7 with a running 12a Peripheral port and a B&M supercharger, on top of the supercharger sits a dellorto. My question is does anybody have any experience with this setup? The guy who owned it said that he would run trick 110 in it. is that a necessity?where should i put my air fuel ration sensor? right now it is in one of the headers but shouldnt it be where both headers come to one? im pretty stoked as i should be drivin my schneven in a week. thanks

So.......has this thing even been run?

A mechanical supercharger and a P-port sounds like a bad combo.....a little on the self defeating side, unless you gear the blower to handle 10,000 crank RPMS.And even then, there is little power down low to help drive the blower, especially with a 12A.

Somehow i Knew that someone would call bullshit, and i figured it would be the only other person with a supercharger, 84 stock, suck it. i have to find access to a camera but u all shall see very soon. I scored this car for 800 bucks after i sold my camden 7 inch for 1500, The previous owner had to sell immidietly becuz he was being put on house arrest. I have heard it run and driven it around my block, It needs to be tuned as it does idle pretty rough. fastest car ive ever been in.

I personally feel that any porting style that has overlap such as a bridgeport or peripheral port is a bad choice to use with a supercharger. Any supercharger. A turbo on the other hand is a different story and works fine. It all has to do with the fact that a supercharger always has more intake pressure than exhaust and therefore blows air out the exhaust during port overlap. A turbo setup on the other hand almost always has more exhaust pressure than intake pressure so this doesn't happen to the same effect. Porting rules are not the same for turbos vs superchargers.

I would've been the first to apologize for saying "bullshit" had you been more diplomatic. And if you thought someone wwould say it, why didn't you just post pics in the first place instead of waiting for the comment and then being a jerk about the comment.

You are sooooo right. My bridgeported s/c makes little more power than my streetported s/c application did. The camden would work best on a non-ported street driven application. Yep the camden is outdated, but who else makes a bolt on s/c for a declining market anyway.
