Axle aligment
I noticed a few months ago that the rear axle assembly on my car seems to be slanted/offset about 1- 1 1/2 inches towards the passenger side of the car(on the passenger side the wheel edge is just under the exterior of the fender and on the driver side its a good 2" inside the fender). I cannot say that it was or was not like that when I bought it but anyways, I am trying to find what is causing this.
I did a brief inspection and did not see any obvious signs of the source of this problem. the whole rear end has all the stock bushings (other than the sway bar).
The rear lower control arms are silighty curved but in a vertical direction.
So i dont know if this could be the problem.
Other than that the car could have been crashed but it just seems to be the axle that is displaced.
Anyways if anyone knows what I can do/ check let me know.

Go to the junk yard and get you some straight ones for $25.
this is most likely your problem.

Hey, Pardner...
Sounds like rear damage from an accident....It shouldn't be that way...Is your driveshaft going into your diff at an angle? Just guessing, but perhaps a previous owner slid the backend into a curb and shoved everything to one side....Repair shop may have replaced various items, but the mountings may still be a bit out of line....
