i have my secret decoder ring and used it..... a lot of the water temps have to do with the deg. thermostate you are running. and also the stock guages SUCK I have had the same motor show diffrent temps in 2 cars...with the same rad. and all. on a 85 gsl it hardly got into the "norm" range and on a 84 gs it was right @ the 1/2 norm area. for a real temp go get a after market guage. i have used a elct. sending unit with a digital guage and also a read mech. guage. both were very close to the same #'s

Eh...then since it has so much to do with thermostat temp, how about finding out how many people use different temp thermostats?

I'd like to know...because I probably will replace mine soon, wasn't sure if a totally stock 12A should stick with a 180 degree or a 160 degree, or some other temp?
