what is a good checklist to make sure to replace or check before starting this season?

 

Umm, anything that needs changing I guess................

Give your car a thurough look over for ware items like brake pads, tires, clutch ect.
and a good tune up with fuel filter,timing check and such.

I just replaced the wheel bearings, rotors, and pads on mine. Gonna be the first season for the -SE.

 

+ go through what they inspect @ tech:

wheel bearings tight
lug nuts torqued
throttle return
battery tight and terminals covered
brakes and brake lites functional
etc...

i also find it a good idea to tighten all suspension and steering nuts and bolts. sunday i torqued rear suspension on the REPU and was suprised some of the u-bolts and leaf spindle nuts were loose. one was 15ft/lbs too loose.

 

yea, definately check brakes and suspension. redo bushings and balljoints if you can, will help alot if they haven't been touched.
