Autometer gauges- where do I put Water temp and oil pressure?
I have an 85 GSL-SE. I did a search with alot of mixed results. Where do I put the water sensor? On the back of the pump is a sensor under the return line or by the oil fill neck? If so do I need an adaptor to fit the Autometer gauge, what size?
Next- Oil pressure sender! Does it just replace the factory one by the oil filler neck? Do I also need an adaptor to do this? What size?
Thanks in advance
John

behind water pump housing (but the fitting is hard to find) OR in the t-stat cover.
the kit should come with the fittings. leave the factory alone and no need to buy a RB plate. just drill and tap the rear bajo fitting.
Save ur $$ for HP parts.

gauges
Your sending unit behind the water pump is for your ecu for fuel management. Do
not remove this. Do you plan on leaving your stock gauges hooked up in the car?
If so, you can run a tee to both the oil sender and the temp sender. The oil sender is below the oil filter and the water temp sender near the oil sender.
