Automatic tranny drain plug where is it?

any body know where the automatic tranny
drain plug is located. I can't for the life of me
find the little bastard. thanks Matt22

hey thanks,
i ended up just unbolting the tranny
and losing the fluid all over the garage
floor, smells really good out there right now.

Yep, that's how you gotta do it. Too may people were mistakenly removing their tranny drain plugs while doing an oil change. That's why we end up suffering; for their stupidity. My '68 Impala had a tranny drain plug and I never botched an oil change. Oh well, not everyone is into rotaries either.

I would advise you having the tranny flushed for about 70 bucks with one of those machines. When you drain the tranny, you only get about half of the stuff out. The torc converter holds 40 to 60% of the fluid. When the tranny fluid get's burnt, it plugs up the cooler. They say 9 out of 10 tranny failures are from over heating.

I don't know if it helps, but the guys at the lube place always drain and flush the tranny from the lower radiator cooling tubes.
