Question Auto Paint Shop Question...

Hey guys, I was wondering what is the cheapest cost of getting a pain touch over the original at a shop?

I wondering if Washington State even have a place that I can get my car touch up with some pain. I seen a long time ago a commercial of places only charging like $200-400 I think on a touch up pain job. Just wondering if they still have that kind of service around.

I have a great paint supplier, that paints himself. He answers all of my questions. I've found this to be the best route.

2 similiar questions and I post my answer in the wrong one. Maaco and Earl Schibe, if he is even still around, offered really cheap paint services. I doubt you will get a matching paint color, unless you have a single stage enamel on it now.

just dont go to generic places like one day paint, youll be much happier if you dont, the paint quality is sub-par and they treat you like dirt..even after i spent a ton of money on the long stupid warranty that they convinced me on...that's my experience anyway

Best bet is to find a local guy that will do it in his spare time for you.

We happen to have a local rotorhead that will do any of our cars for 300 plus supplies. They're out there, just find them.

I have a friend of mine who is willing to do all the labor for free, I just buy the supplies. But then again, I help them out a lot with tearing apart engines and putting them back together, along with all kinds of other miscellaneous things. He's really good with body work too. For anyone else he'd charge, though.

I start around 1500, with out body work. But then I'm, picky, slow, **** and strip all the parts off the car. I don't like to paint/tape around body add ons. Better quality, look and longer lasting. A little over 1/3 of the price is for decent paint and supplies.
