2 Questions in this thread guys,
1. Is there a way to replace the stock stereo system with a really cool cd player, and still be able to use the stock amps and the stereo surround sound stick thing by the window buttons?.
2. Where do you get the face plate to cover the gaping hole left when u replace the 8 inch tall with a 2 and a half inch tall radio?.

1. I don't have an se so i don't know about this one. I have heard though, that the stock amps suck and you don't want to use them. i just used an mtx amp to power new component speakers. sounds a lot better.
2. Circuit City has a real nice kit that fits most cd players very well. looks real good. costs about $20.

Stock amps are 25 watts per channel.
New head units are 40...45... maybe even 50 watts per channel...
Something tells me that the stock amps are not very useful.
Kit can be found anywhere... It replaced the lower portion of the stock stereo with a cubby hole or a blank plate...
Also, lemmie plug Manntis' site and say you shoudl head over to http://www.rotorhead.ca and check out his stereo kit... It's a bit expensive, but looks great. Either Gauges or a cubby hole. Quality metal, not cheap plastic.
