If you are going to get a rebuild kit, get the one from Mazda. If you can't get it from Mazda, then contact www.revolutionrotary.com they will get it from the Mazda dealer for you and only charge you shipping.

I buy from them. I never had a problem with their product, or customer service. There are some places that have things cheaper than Atkins, and Atkins has some things that are cheaper then everywhere else. I shop around, but Atkins is one of the first places I always look for parts.

I bought a streetported engine from them about a year ago and it seems to run stronger now then when I got it. A bonus: they even sent me a christmas card last year.

I have had a bad first experience with their single piece steel apex seals, only gave me 60psi.

IMO, Dave and Kathy are fantastic people. They're very nice and sell good quality engines. Buying an engine from them was incredibly easy and fast too. Two thumbs up for Atkins.

DONT buy one of there rebuild kits... most of the parts you get you dont need... if you know you need most of the things in the kit go for it... most of the parts in the kits are USED... much better idea to pull the motor apart and see what it needs... as far as there apex seals go there second to NONE... from what I have seen there the strongest units on the market.... I detonated the **** out of my motor and never lost one... I know people who have chiped them/ BROKE THEM and they have sealed back up...

hey honda pisser, didnt you use to work for atkins rotary? Might have been someone else on the forum.

Well I to have heard stories of atkins not allways using new parts when they really should like rotor housings. I live by seattle so I had the choice of going with atkins or going with pineapple.

I have heard some bad things about atkins (nothing horrible though), but I have never heard a complaint about pineapple racing. The only exception is the issue with robs modified aux sleeve inserts that their talking about in the second gen forum.

I have also heard some very good things about atkins two piece apex seals.

I buy from atkins...no problems with their customer service. I highly recommend tearing the engine apart first and buying exactly what u need instead of getting a "kit".

Yeah I used to work for atkins... they reuse there houseings but all of them are still good... I tore down maney motors to get good houseings for rebuilds... I would do business with them... as far as there apex seals go I have a few friends that are useing them on some HIGHLY moded motors and they havent been able to find any other seals that can do what they do... ESPECIALLY when they break...
