Mazda needs to make a cheap car that will be loved by the masses, and they should sneak a rotary into that car so they can continue developing the motor. Some thing like a neon or honda civic with a 120hp rotary motor would justify spending more money on rotary developement.
But on the other hand I want the rotary to stay exclusive to sporty cars.
Whatever, I just hope they don't produce that concept, it is ugly.

Guys on that Mazda site we can contact them by email lets start asking for a new RX3 or RX7 via email. I just send them one. I know 1 email wont do anything but what about thouthands of email. Who knows...

Cthulhu Cultist is correct, the Senku concept if produced will be the next flagship rotary aimed at the same market as the old Cosmo turbo versions. Remember it was the fastest Japanese production car and was the Mazda flagship not the Gen 1 . Thus, expect RX-8 prices plus 10%. As for a name possibly RX-10 since the RX-9 was temporarily used in the past.
The Kabura concept was focus grouped as a cheap hot hatch, with a bit of confusion as to where the 3 SP fitted in. DriftFB is wrong as to power requirements. These days 120hp is a shopping cart, so 200-250hp would be the aim. The latest Golf GTI is an example of what to expect. Keeping it under $20,000 would be difficult but a marketing target.
Hold on to your Gen 1s, there not coming back. However, on a positive note look at the demand and price for RX-3s to see where your car will be 10 years from now.
