Ok- I found this car on the side of the road...

Couple questions- I found an 81 on the side of the road....

However...It has a sunroof...Whale tail and AC... Is this anything special?

Was a whale tail factory? The guy says that it was...However I never have seen one with it... It looks orginal. Rebuilt engine less than 10K miles ago. Good oil pressure. Seems to run well.

Guy is asking $1,500. Needs paint and some interior work...

 

Whaletail most likely came from Mariah, not a factory/dealer option. Post pics.

 

OK...I am stupid.... Its not a "whaletail"... it looks like the wing that is on the back of a 4th gen supra...

 

Still do not believe that is a factory wing, pics would help. What model, GS, GSL, SE ? Always nervous when someone sells a car with 10k on a rebuild, why is he selling ?

 

Dealer installed wing, maybe, factory wing, no. Pics will answer the question. Probably only as special as you want to make it. Imagination is a wonderful thing somedays.

The car is an hour away near my girlfriends house... My girlfriend is going to take some pictures whenever it stops raining/snowing/sleeting...

ya thats ahem, not stock.... Here is what a whaletail looks like. (this is also 100% not factory...)
