I'd like to replace the old thermal reactor exhaust system on the 79 and was thinking of keeping the emissions in place . I am not really that interested in squeezing every single pony out of the 12A on that car, removing the rats nest, straight pipes etc..

Has anyone used a high flow cat ( Bonez example) with a racing beat header system for the 79-80 ?

 

I used the magnaflow one and it worksed fine for about 2 years then when it got clogged up it would glow bright red while the car was warming up and catch the lawn on fire. LOL! It was cool...
