What are you going to do for the ends of the dash. IIRC the FD dash meets with the door panels for a smoother look.

I will make custom door panels with foam and fiberglass, then covering it with the same material as the dash (a fake leather from what I can see). I will use the plastic parts like the pocket, handle, combo switch etc. That will give it an integrated look.

Just to show you guys that we are crazy enough to do anything, a friend here is putting:

a 1st gen eclipse interior

a 2nd gen eclipse dashboard and center console

into a 1983 FORD TAUNUS (yes, taunus NOT taurus)

I think newer dashes look like cat poop and dumb compared to SA and FB dash. (being silly lol)

The original dash's are works of art and represent a moment in time and a certain feeling unique to the vehicle.
