exedy is the same disc as ACT, and centerforce id the same as a deakon disc. Unless your getting one of exedy's expensive clutches you might be wasting money unless you got a good price.

That really depends what he bought.

We offer an OEM replacement - which is made for stock power.

But we also make a "Stage 1 Organic" which should hold a decent amount of power over stock. I currently own and Evolution VIII and my "Stage 1 Organic" is taking me 12.2 @ 110MPH.

Be careful about assumptions.

Daikin Clutch Corporation is the US Division of Exedy Japan (it's a wholey owned subsidary).

Daikin Clutch/Exedy manufacture 95% of Japanese clutches worldwide. In addition - we also make the clutches for all the factory race teams - NISMO, MazdaSpeed, STI, RalliArt, etc, etc.

With such a wide spread of products we pick up customers that are also competition in the performance market. i.e. We sell our OEM stock product to customers that in turn modify them to their spec, and paint them yellow, orange, white, blue, etc.

The Exedy Performance line is NOT a modified stock product. It is a clutch build from the ground up as a performance clutch. Our Stage 1 is a very potent clutch and far exceeds the stock "replacement" we also sell.

If anyone has any questions - feel free to ask or give me a call.
