Anyone running 15x7 0 offset wheels with 205 50 15 tires?

Trying to do some research here:

Is anyone running a set of 15x7 ZERO (0) Offset wheels with 205 15 15 or bigger tires on a 1st gen with STOCK or Racing Beat/ Suspension Techniques springs without any rubbing problems? I don't have a bone stock 1st gen to test these out on.

If you are please post pictures or info, etc.

Thanks!

Hell no it won't work!!! I'm running +7, 15x7's, and 205/50/15's on eibachs and I HAD to roll my fendors or it rubbed bad every time I turned. no way a 0 offest would work. They would stick out mexy style.

You should try 195 50 15's.

He said they were +7's. I don't think there is a big enough market for me to do anything with 0 offset wheels Steve.

You may be right, only going to work with widebodies and cars equipped with fender flares...

Well I know for a fact I can run 195 50 15 tires on an 8 inch wheel with no rubbing with stock fenders and I have done the same with a 0 offset 15x7, but I don't think people want to be limited with tire choices.

I just love the deep dished look, it is so tough. I would still go for it if you do go ahead. Hate the flush look, reminds me of danged Hondas.

I was wondering the same thing. I have an 85 SE and was thinking about the Konig Rewinds in a 15x7 BUT since they only come in zero offset I didnt want to spend the money without trying them on the car first. I keep hearing they wont work because of the offset but if they would fit and not stick out I wouldn't care about running a 195-50-15.

i have 195/50/15 on 15x7 +7 on the rear with uncut ground control/eibach springs with the 5 deadwound coils. i will be cutting one or two off, because i still have a gap, but there is no rubbing. i want to go 0 offset too. i don't think there will be a problem. i think the main thing is having stiff springs that wont' move too much over those big highway bumps

i am guessing 195's will work for sure, but 205's you might have to roll fenders.

Hyper4mance2k......Do you have any pics. I also just picked up some 15x7 with 0 offset and I would like to see some pictures of anyone running this set up or something close.

Carl im sure you have sent me some pictures of your setup before but I dont think I labeled the pics would you mind posting any of the picks with the 15x7 0 offset wheels on your car.

I dont want to waste the time and money getting them redrilled from 108mm to 110mm if I dont think they will look right. Thanks

Rx Seven, are they old Mustang wheels? 4x108 will fit but not exactly perfect, maybe test fit them before you redrill. If you put 195 50 15's on there it SHOULD not rub, unless your running stock springs and stock struts. I don't have any old pictures of the 0 Offset Enkei's it was so long ago. Carl

These are 15x8, 195 50 15 tires, no rubbing. But I do have rolled fenders and firm springs. I know 15x7 0 offset will work on a 1st gen, its just the tire sizes will have to be limited and your fenders need to be rolled, and firm springs.

I am not sure what they came off of but as soon as I get a chance I will try and mount them on my car. the thing is they dont have any tire either so its not going to give me the best impression of how the look on the car. I will post some pics later it the fit.
