It was a show about glue and adheasives (us old people watch that kind of ****) and there was a highway shot and I spotted a Yellow 1st gen. Thanks to my DVR/TIVO, after I shouted to my wife "hey thats a 1st gen in that shot!", I rewound it and sure as ****, about .05 secs of a yellow 1st gen as it drives by.

Aint that the truth. On both counts.
Yea I saw a piece on CNN about Spamalot. Looks quite silly.

The all time best IMO was on American Hot Rod when out of the blue, they just cut to a high angle shot of a black 1st gen that starts doing donuts in a TINY space with boxes filled with new parts not more than 4 feet away on each side. It just kept going and going, and everybody from the shop was like "Damn!"
Oh, and no, NO TFTF/2F2F REFERENCES COUNT. The 3rd gen in TFTF was just another bastardized decalmobile

was watching a epsisode of The Shield on DVD. I caught a Black FC Vert at a chop shop that Vic was trying to get info from. And while channel surfing, I noticed the side mirror and demister grille of a 7. It turned out that Barbara Streisand's car in a movie with Nick Nolte was a Red FC Convertibel .
Basic instinct had a first gen when Michael Douglas as chasing sharon stone down I believe the 101.
