I have a 4-port 13B in a MG B . I recently purchased the car, didn't do the swap myself. It's the first MGB I've ever seen with a rotary, but there several MG Midgets running around with 12a's and there's one here on the board with a 13b I believe. Search for midget and you should find the link.

I've heard of a few different cars with 12a's in em. MGs are popular, I've also seen datsuns and a few other too. But to answer your question, yes, a 12a has been put into an MG. Try searching MGB.

I'll save you the trouble Hades, I have the 12a powered spitfire. There are lots of pics of it on this forum if you do a quick search. Dunno where trenton is, but I love showing her off. At least 2 very good step by step websites about installing a 12a into a midget. I referenced them quite abit. Makes an awesome car for sure. I couldn't have picked a better engine. Good luck!

seen a rotus here in atlanta. Guy had a lightened flywheel and I think a streetport. Very cool, but I didn't fit in it. Made my spitfire feel like a limo. I can't get near that weight with the spitfire, but I just make up for it with power. hehe.

My current engine was going to be put in an MG. The guy abandoned that project though so I got the engine. Shouldn't be too hard. He had the whole drivetrain in and out in a week or two. Good luck.

My girlfriends dad has a MG B with a carbed 5.0L ford motor in it and it weighs 2200lbs, the 5.0 block is very close in weight to a NA 13b. How do you plan on dropping 1100lbs?
