I got a quote from a guy that said $85 for shipping...sounds kinda high to me. Anyone know for sure before I agree to it?

you have to box it just right to fit in the size catagory or they wont take it.

Sounds about right to me.

The heaviest item I've had shipped to me (from FL, in fact) was about 50 pounds and it was just under $50 for the shipping.... The tranny is larger.

I dunno if it weighs 80 pounds though... I can pick it up and walk around with it easily, and I'm not all that strong
