PA Anyone have secton 1580 of the parts catalog for 79-80 RX's

My parts listing ctatalog does not include this section for some reason. It is section 1580 which covers the Air conditioning Compressor, bracket and belt. If anyone has a pdf of this section I would appreciate the help.

maybe there isn't one? the air pump belt and hardware is actually with the emissions (section 1371A), and the alternator is in section 1800A.

i don't know about the SA, but the 81-91 cars had the AC parts listed in separate books* (there are two), and i'd assume the SA was in there too.

i remember having to use these books in the 90's, but so far i haven't been able to find a copy. although its a moot point as there wasn't much you could get in the 90's

*being a mazda parts guy was tricky in before the internet. the only way I know there are two AC binders is because i used to have to use them. notice they don't appear on any list or anything? that's how it was. if you wanted truck stripes it wasn't in the parts catalog it was some bulletin, and if you didn't know about it, there is no way you could have known about it! we still yell at them for having to look up parts that aren't in the parts catalog (the 3 on a mazda 3 for example isn't in the parts catalog, its on some bulletin), although now they at least have a list on the website.

USA SAs had the air con installed port-side and/or by the dealers, so not listed in the JDM-printed parts manuals for US cars. Think this changes with the FB and maybe FB air con belt specs are the same?

the FB's did have their own a/c section in the parts manual. i think the SA a/c compressors were all Sanden units...i think... could be Denso, but i remember them looking like Sanden units... either way, i believe Stu is correct in that the later FB belt would probably fit. call a parts store (advance, napa etc) and ask them for an a/c belt for an SA and then an FB and see if their parts catalog lists the same part number for their respective belt. if i remember correctly, i used Napa's Gates belts on my LS. they worked very well.
