I'm aware that the braces would have to come out, but the car I'm intending to put rear seats into is my '84 GSL-SE, once it's running, so I can pack the wife and the kid into it.
I've heard that FC rear seats might fit. Anyone know?

Yea they are only for kids. I did the install so later on I could put the storage bins back in. It was put in seats or by a four seater and I wanted to keep my 7.

Check E-bay and search around and put a WTB in the 1st gen section. Every now and then these seats pop up.

Nice! those would be just about right for my 2-year-old, at least for a few more years...

I think it would be nice to carry 1 more person (cuz thats all that would fit in the backseat) in my car, but then its just extra weight.

I'm not worried about the extra weight - the seats would be going into my soon-to-be daily-driver GSL-SE. I'll still have my '79 for autocross and such.
