Exclamation Anyone Have Kosei Wheels??

Ok, the only wheels I could personally find for my car were Kosei K-1's. They look good in the book, but im not sure that they would look that good on my car. If any of you guys have them, could you please post pics? Thanks.

~T.J.

P.S. - I was also told that ROH Snyper wheels will fit, but I have never seen them sold anywhere...Anyone know facts behind this?

Ok, thanks DirectFreak. They look about as good as I thought. I did some research and came up with the website for ROH wheels. They have some pretty decent styles, but their fitting guide on their website doesnt work yet, so I odnt know if they readily make a wheel that will bolt up. However, I did find a picture of some Snyper wheels on a first gen, which does get my hopes up...Check out the pic, I like them more than the Kosei's.

PS - With my luck, they're photo shopped onto it...What do you think?

Personally I think the Kosei's are much better...they are lighter.

I just ordered some of the Snypers. I am having the spokes painted keeping the rim polished. It should look tight.

I was going to get some 17s but it is such a pain in the *** to find a gsl se spindle and axle.

Plus with a 25 mm offset you get a fat polished lip on the rim.

Where did you order them from? Are you getting them online somewhere? I looked everywhere for them, but no one in a local store said they could get them...I think those are the ones I want, assuming they wont clean out my wallet...

I have pics of those on my car somewhere on the forum. I think the tile is pics of my rx7. SO their are a few of them where you can see the wheels.

Hey T.J., how large of a rim size can I put on '84 GSL without the tire ever hitting the wheel well when the front strut are fully compressed? I know that low pros are a must with a larger rim. My 7 still has the original 13" rims and tires it had when I bought it. Are 16's or 17's too large, and do I need to change anything about the front axles to get new rims to bolt up?

snypers weight a lot more than the Kosies albeit painting the spokes on the snypers and leaving the polished lips will look awesome....
can anyone photoshop some snypers with painted spokes?

How much do Snypers weigh compared to the stock GSL-SE wheels? And, what's the widest tire size that will fit on an -SE?

for the -SE you can get lots and lots of wheels... You don't have to limit yourself to the Snypers or K-1s...

I think widest you can go back is about 225, and prolly only 205 in the front without any problems.
205/60-14 is stock size on all 4 corners...

According to this website (http://www.wheelweights.net/)

stock 84-85 14x5.5 are 13.0 lbs.
k-1 racing 15x7 = 13.5lbs
Roh snyper 15x7 = 15.0lbs.

of course, then you could just throw on some heavy *** tires to make up for it...

Hey, are the Snypers the only ones from ROH that will fit? They have some other cool wheels, and if they would fit, I would buy them...Does anyone happen to know?

does anyone know where you would be able to get wheels that aren't pre drilled with a bolt pattern?

that way you would be able to do it yourself.

most wheels, as long as they are not forged, can be custom drilled.

Yeah, one place I was at offered me the option to have some ordered and custom drilled...Too much work for me though (money too Im sure, I didnt ask). I would rather just buy some rims that fit, although, there are some cool rims that I would like on my car...
