anyone have direct hits?

I was looking at some mag and came across a spark increaseing system that works with the stock system to provide higher spark. Just wondering if anyone has tryed it? The sales person told me that he had blown 12A and that with these on he was still able to drive it around, but that it "smoked like a pig". I would imagine that you could still drive a blown engine because it still has one rotor but that it will be destroyed in a few miles. The cost is ruffly $195.00 + S/H i think.

anyone know if 215/50R13 fit in the front with out rubbing? used on current stock rims

I was going to do some searches for this but since I am wrighting this thread... I know that the answer is out there.. What is the smallest size tire and best offset to use on a gsl? Is it 205/60R17 with the rims haveing 20mm offset or 40mm?

I did a quick search yesturday for wheel size and found that most have 205/somethingR17. What I didn't find out is what model has the 40mm or 20mm offset. The threads confuse me, one minute there talking about non-se and the next there talking about se. Nothing specific. The wheels I want have polised lips with black spokes and center caps.

something like

or

$195

You wouldn't catch me dead buying $200 spark plugs. That, and I change mine every 4-5 months. They can keep em.

Not sure on the tire size. I'm pricing Toyo RA-1's at the moment in 205/60/13 for the stocker rims. Extremely sticky tires.

SE's usually have a 38mm offset(not sure if it is exact...just off the top of my head.) The other models(ones with drum brakes usually had the smaller offset. Since you have a GSL I would venture to say that you have the smaller offset but since I cannot see the car I cannot tell you for sure.

Check if you have drums...if you do most likely you have the smaller offset.

On my SE I have 215's all the way around

ahh there not spark plugs. did you visit the site? there cables that come with some sort of devise that increases the spark at the plug. It works with the stock ignition system.

When you get back from doing dounuts in the rain you might want to read this:

Directhits is a stupid device for a rotary (think long combustion chamber and a super-short duration spark).

NewRXr, that link reminds me of the Magnecore website. In other words, it's good info. Thanks for posting.
