Anyone Have an 85 ECU???

I'm currently in the process of swapping an 85 12A into my 80 SA and i was wondering if anyone had an 85 12A ECU they could spare? I was told by someone that they should have matched up and that there shouldn't be much of a difference, but obviously they didn't know what they were talking about. So if you can spare an ECU please let me know, i'd like to get her running before winter. Thank you!!!!!

Also wondering if anyone could tell me if i need to swap the bell housings from the 80 trans to the 85 to make it work???

I have an '85 ECU that I was asking $30 plus shipping for.

The one above looks like the '83 ecu I have.

I could have a part in my garage for 10 years, and after I trash it I see a WTB thread for it.
AFAIK it is for emissions, and should not stop fuel and spark.
Also wonder if your harness will plug into it.
