Anyone gott a pic of an Accel Pump

I need a pic of what an accel pump looks like, so I know if that is what is leaking on my carb.

Thanks ahead of time!

i dont have a pic, but just replaced mine cause it leaked, the diaphram went bad and caused it to leak, you can remove the four small phillips head screws and that will expose the rubber type diaphram,,i went to mazda to get the part and they wanted 44 bucks just for the one part,,,ordered a complete kit from victoria british for 19 + 6 shipping, (unless you have an imports store localally)
i found it easier to remove the bottom left screw and then slide over the pump lever pin (not all the way) just enough to expose the lower right screw....pretty simple from there on,,,,

Just to make sure we are thinking of the same thing, does it have kind of a thin bar right in the middle of it?

yep, that would be the arm that is attached to the spring linkage,,the square is a little larger than an inch with 4 screws in each corner,,,right...?if u have a haynes manual the picture is on page 78 pic 24.3/31 may want to go to library or auto zone and look at the pic...

Well is there anything to it, changing the diaphram. Do I just take off the screws, or is there something else I have to worry about?

i put a dab of super glue to hold the spring in place (you will see the spring when u pop out the diaphram), one side of the diaphram has a recessed metal cup that the spring goes in (towards carb when installing) and the other side of the diaphram has a rod attached to it, which the accelerator pushes in/out to pump the gas..should only take less than an hour to do,,faster if you dont have to fight with the screws,,,may want to pull the fuel line hose out of the way to give you some room.....wont be much to begin with,,,,,put the top screws in first to make sure you have the diaphram lined up with the holes but dont tightn them down till u get the bottom ones in too....also put the bottom right one in before the bottom left one so you can move the pin to the left first...
