they frequently show up on ebay, but most sell for near what they cost when new - a frequently over looked advantage of the glass sun roof is that it gives you more head room

Most 81-85 ones go for 125-175

I have a sun roof made out of plexiglass for an 81-85 1st almost brand new and very light that will let go for about 150.00 plus shipping... If anyone is interested... I paid 225.00 a few months ago before I ran into a nice glass one... so I don't need the plexiglass now...

It's got the metal one, hits my head when closed. If anyone needs the metal one, maybe we can work something out if they got a glass.
Sorry for the niave asking price, only messed with RX-7's for 2 months now.

I have one I'll let go for $125 shipped to you. Keep in mind I have to buy about $15 worth of packing materials so it doesn't arrive in pieces.

I hear that. I bought a special sized box and about 20 ft. of bubble wrap when I sold one previously, no problems getting there intact. Unfortunately bubble wrap is not cheap.

I will give you a 84 gsl parts car for a perfect glass roof...if anyone is interested. Also, I have a plexi glass roof in good shape. It does have half dollar size scratch that I think can come out with 10,000 grit sanding gel. I want the glass. Anyone want to deal????????

Well, I guess that would be your problem. Not trying to be smart. I would work with you if you want. I would say tow it as it is not drivable. It is basically a complete car, engine and all. It is missing radio, seats , l front fender ...but it has the lsd, tranny , engine wheels etc...let me know if you or any one interested.....cjf
