I'm looking at an '80 with 32k original miles. Seems to be in great shape. I'm gonna have it looked at but assuming she checks out, what range should I expect to pay?

With these cars its hard to get an estimate. Ive seen similar cars go anywhere from 3000 to 10,000. It all depends on location, owner, and buyer. Most people are willing to pay a decent amount(considering these are 20 years old) to get a mint 1st gen. Really hard to sayt on price, depends on options and condition. I could say from 3000 to 7000, but other people will always say different

dont forget that these cars dont take sitting around to well because of carbon build up so make sure the motor is in top shape unless u plan on rebuilding it any way

Yeah, I plan to have a tech look it over and give it a compresson test. Supposedly it's been driven from time to time. A rebuild isn't exactly what I've got in mind, but if the price is right...
