dash lights

my dash lights went out and wont come on anymore basclly only the clock blinkers and map lights come on and that it......all my fuses are ok what should i check now loose connectors??

What year is yours? If it has an seperate dimmer for the dash lights, the switch is out. rx7doctor

mine did the same on my 85. all the fuses are dandy...

i just glance at my "unimportant" gauges while passing street lamps. (my tach, oil, and temp gauges are seperate and have their own lights.)

It's your switch that controls the brightness of the instrument lights, if you take it out and bypass it at the terminals, you will get your dash lights back rx7doctor

oooo...that's probably why mine don't work. (i don't have the dimmer switch anymore)

speaking of all that the only interior light that works is th clock one all else is black and the fuses are fine? what is the problem???? thanks

thats how mine is only the clock well let me check that out and if all else fails i cant pick up some portable l ights that double side tape to ur intrument panel and light it up
